Yes, lots has happened to me since my last post.
Dad went through the worst stage of his cancer. Ron Paul went from top-tier candidate back to bottom-tier. I'm applying for scholarships. We're working on the backyard. I'm losing weight.
And such.
I'm a cynical libertarian who blogs about current events, GLBT issues, libertarian philosophy, politics, pop culture, religion, and just about everything else.

The PERFECT Vice-Presidential Choice for Ron Paul...
...Governor Luis Fortuno of Puerto Rico. A fiscal hawk, public union buster, and strong leader. It would provide the needed balance to bring out GOP voters who would otherwise feel uncomfortable about voting for Dr. Paul, and Ron Paul could win Florida, the Southwest, plus most or all of the swing states that were red in 2004 but went for Obama in 2008.
Paul/Fortuno 2012!!!!

Disappointed and Then Reassured
Okay, so I was disappointed last week when Ron Paul placed third in Iowa.
But last night, I was reassured when Ron Paul placed an impressive second.
And my predictions came true! I predicted in this order:
1. Romney
2. Paul
3. Huntsman
4. Gingrich
5. Santorum
6. Perry
Paul looks like he's going into South Carolina and he'll be ON FIRE! Hopefully he breaks 20%.

Back
Yeah, I'm back.
Forgot all the Happy Holiday wishes too, so here it is late.
And Ron Paul is up in the polls. Newsletter shit I missed. Whatever.
Oh, and it's Iowa Caucus Day.
Here's a pump song:
My Predictions:
Ron Paul: 27% Like a BOSS.
Rick Santorum: 24%
Mitt Romney: 22%
Rick Perry: 11%
Newt Gingrich: 9%
Michele Bachmann: 7%
Jon Huntsman: A well-deserved goose egg. 0%. For his elitist comments about Iowa and Iowans.

The Constitution is, once again, toilet paper.
Tonight goes to show that VERY FEW people in DC take their Constitutional oaths seriously.
By a wide 60-38 margin, the Senate rejected Senator Rand Paul's amendment proposal that would have revoked the suspension of habeas corpus in a bill that declares America a "war zone."
That's right, dear readers. There's the possibility that you can be declared a "terrorist" and locked up with no Constitutional rights.
And with the rise of the Tea Party in the last almost 3 years, and the rise of OWS in the past 2.5 months...this isn't any coincidence, in my opinion.
Find out how your Senator voted. Perhaps it's time to do a bit of a Senate cleaning next November. I know I'm going to be doing some Senate cleaning in my state (Indiana). Time to primary Lugar OUT!
And as an extra treat: Watch McCain and Paul talk. See McCain's "WAR ON TERRA!!!" justification for the bill.
Work as hard as you can to get the Bill KILLED!!!!!!
It's time to start getting MAD...if you haven't yet already.

Happy Black Friday.
Well, Christmastime has kicked off.
And take it from me: Unless you're seeking a plasma TV, video game console, laptop, camera, cell phone, or any such thing, standing in line isn't worth it.

What I'm Thankful For
OK, now that my belly is full, it's time to list what I'm thankful for.
- I'm thankful for God and His wonderful grace.
- I'm thankful that I have a roof over my head, clothes on my back, and a belly full of food (as well as more food to survive).
- I'm thankful that I am alive and well, in general good health. Also, that I can see, hear, walk, talk, and normally function.
- I'm thankful for the great feast today.
- I'm thankful for my family.
- I'm especially thankful for my loving, accepting, and supportive father, who accepts me for who I am. He could have rejected me but he didn't. Thank God for that.
- I'm thankful for the education I have received, for the degree I have earned, and for the new educational journey in which I will embark next fall.
- I'm thankful for my awesome friends, from my childhood to college to my Ron Paul and GLBT meetup friends. You guys and girls are the best! :)
- I'm thankful for all of the recreational and educational possessions which I have.
- I'm thankful for the opportunities I have.
- I'm thankful I live in a country that is based on liberty. Such liberty may not be as manifest these days, but I'm thankful that I'm born with liberty bestowed upon me, rather than have it "given" to me by a government.
- I'm thankful that I have someone to vote for, a candidate who believes in liberty, peace, free markets, and Constitutional principles: Congressman Ron Paul.
- I'm thankful for finding the GCN: It helped me to realize that I can be gay AND a Christian and be accepted in the eyes of the Lord.
- And I'm thankful for being thankful. :)
